The pile driving works for the Container Berth involved the installation
of large-diameter Steel Pipe Piles (SPP) with a diameter of Ø1,400 mm
and a length of 59 meters. A total of 189 piles were successfully
driven.
The piling operation was executed using a suitable piling barge, SWI Sulawesi X, equipped with a 70-meter piling leader.
The
driving was performed using a high-performance Delmag D220 diesel
hammer, ensuring optimal penetration and installation efficiency.
Massive SPP piles were transported using the thruster barge Iso Maju
